The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) took its career sensitisation campaign to Taita-Taveta County from January 4 to 8, 2019, on invitation by the county’s Ministry of Education and Libraries.
In a series of career sensitisation forums, KUCCPS officers interacted with the residents of Wundanyi, Taveta, Mwatate and Voi sub-counties, guiding them on the processes and procedures for student placement to universities and other tertiary institutions.
The meetings also included question-answer sessions, during which the county’s youth had an opportunity to seek clarification on various issues relating to career choice and placement process and training opportunities.
The main objective of the forums was to create awareness among the residents of the county on available opportunities for post-secondary training.
